January
62-68°FThe water is cool. We fish the deeper channels and flats. Redfish and trout are slow this month.

February
64-70°FThe water warms. Speckled trout move onto the flats. We target them with artificials and live bait.

March
68-74°FFishing picks up. Redfish and flounder are good catches. We also see some tarpon rolling in.

April
62-68°FThe water warms and the fish move inshore. We find redfish and trout on the flats. Snook and flounder are also active.

May
68-75°FThis is prime time. Tarpon arrive and feed aggressively. Redfish, trout, snook, and flounder are all biting hard.

June
75-80°FThe heat is on. Tarpon fishing is excellent in the surf and passes. We also target redfish, snook, and flounder nearshore.

July
78-82°FThe heat is on. We find big snook and tarpon around the inlets and bridges. Redfish and trout move into the backcountry as the water warms.

August
80-84°FAugust is prime time for big game. Snook and tarpon are aggressive and plentiful. We target them around structure and along the beaches.

September
76-80°FThe fall bite begins. Redfish and trout school up in the shallows and along the flats. Flounder fishing improves as they move towards the ocean.

October
62-68°FThe water cools and the baitfish push inshore. We find redfish and flounder on the flats and around structure. Trout fishing is also excellent.

November
58-64°FWater temperatures drop further. Speckled trout move into the backcountry and we target them with artificials and live bait. Redfish and snook fishing slows.
December
Closed · 52-58°FFishing is slow this month. We do not offer trips when there is no worthwhile fishing.
Where we fish, and when it's best
New Smyrna Beach Flats
Best Apr - Oct — We fish the shallow flats for redfish and trout. The outgoing tide is often best.
Titusville Backwaters
Best Mar - Nov — We target redfish and snook in the Mosquito Lagoon. Look for bait pods on the incoming tide.
Daytona Beach Inshore
Best May - Sep — We fish the surf and nearshore waters for tarpon and sharks. Evening runs are productive.
Port Orange Jetties
Best Jun - Aug — We cast for tarpon and jacks around the jetties. The tide movement is key.
Edgewater Nearshore
Best May - Oct — We troll for kingfish and bonita just offshore. Look for temperature breaks.
Cocoa Beach Surf
Best Jun - Sep — We chase tarpon and sharks in the surf zone. Look for baitfish schools.
